Strength and other weaknesses

There's a craze now, and have always been, about power and being powerful, it's natural and i think people are looking at it the wrong way.
Most of us think that power comes from repressing your weaknesses, not showing them, not even acknoledging them being there, and if you do, for the love of God, DO NOT ever show others that you have them. Showing your best self, starting to belive that you are strong and the best and ultimately you will be, fake it 'till you make it is the way to go. I don't see that as strong. I see it as weak and afraid. Of your own self and of others. If there is a moment when someone will see you as weak, you will crumble and fall, because it was your most prized asset: your "strength".
As i see it, strong is when you know your weaknesses, acknoledge them, dig out your resources to understand them and observe them when they appear and transform them and still like yourself.
To say "i am weak sometimes" is a signal of strength and power over yourself and others because you have the courage to admit that you are human and will make mistakes and will be vulnerable and you will see that vulnerability as a beautiful, human, humble way of connecting whith others and yourself. What can people say to you? "You are weak!" - "why, yes, yes i am, i just said it, and it's normal".  You will have the courage to open up, relate to others, give them the chance to have acces at your weak spots and do it anyway. And you know why? Because you KNOW that whatever happends you will be strong enaugh to get right back up and move on and be yourself. You can understand that people are dual, good and bad, and will sometimes attack you when you are at your lowest, not because they are evil, not because they are mean, mostly because they have to gather up their strength from seeing that they are stronger than you at that lowest point of yours. And that is more weak than you will ever be. Look at them with compassion and see them as they are, dig deeper than the outer look of "being strong" and you will see an afraid human being in need of love and support.
